    Dibz, that looks good,

Can I ask you add a few shots to show how it fits and what you had to do to make it (mounts used etc)

I will post better pics and break it down for you, but here's what it looks like. I cut the handle section off the hiking pole to leave just the telescopic section. Then had to mod the J clip mounts on the lid slightly, by drilling out the middle of it so the pole would fit in it. I also crushed the section of pole using pliers as it was slightly to wide still.. You can just see on the pic. Once I got the pole to fit in the clips it was just a matter of lining up to drill the holes through the pole for the clip bolts to slide through. Quick spray with a tin of paint from the shed and stick a gopro sticker on it.. Looks almost a genuine product if I don't mind saying so myself. It is a bit sore on the old neck if u have it on for long periods of time...as the slight weight difference hanging off the front does start too get a bit tiring.. But for a quick blast on your favourite twisty, u get great footage. GoPro HD Honda CBR1000rr Fireblade - YouTube

That's a great clip, I'd be interested to see how he has that mounted and how it was made.

OK, still not 100% on how you fit it to the lid, but understand now it sticks out from the top of your lid forward with camera upside down.

Any footage from it posted anywhere?

I'm assuming when you say you've modded the j clips you mean you've drilled out two of these and put the pole through?

Can you mount it so its a forward facing shot from behind the lid ?

That's exactly what I mean Pete, and yes I can mount it to the rear so it's filming from behind.

Thanks Jimbo, that's a big help... Having a few vibration issues with my mock up, so may adopt the old tent pole plan :)

Cheers Trev, still trying to put together a decent mini film, but editing takes so long, it's just been small clips just now.
