When discussing the lower gearing of the blade with some chaps on here tother day it was thought by all that the speedo measurement is taken from the rotation of sprocket, hence smaller sprocket resulting in over-reading from the speedo.

Well a guy at work today said speed is measured from the front wheel? Another guy said the same.

Anyone know which it is for the blade??

Some bikes do use a front wheel sensor on the axle, but the Blade uses a speedo sensor in the gearbox, which is why it knocks the speedo out. Try downloading a HUD GPS app on your phone and it will show you the true speedo based on your phones GPS. Don't crash testing it though

the blade doesnt use wheel rotation it takes the reading from the gearbox,or around that area at least.some bikes do go off the sprocket (zx636 for example) and some go from the front wheel (not sure what new bikes do though)
