Identical size/shape as the standard 08-11, can't be 100% on the 12 onwards as see a bike in a dealers the other day with nothing fitted at all.
Have you seen the leo vince gp pro cans yet? I prefer the power bronze hugger, but mine Came with the Honda hugger so I never bothered Changing it.
I'm a fussy bugger. Just seen this and thinking too small? Honda - Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade 08/09 Carbon Fibre Rear Hugger - World of QB Carbon - Carbon Fibre for Motorcycles
Is that the one that looks like an elephants trunk ? If so my brother had one on his Blade, lovely sound, never really heard many different pipes to be honest just the Leo Vinci on my brothers and the Taylormade on my mates which I thought was very quiet compared to the Leo Vinci. What are the Yoshi, Akra, Austin, Racefit, Taylormade ones like, all around the same ??
Re Huggers. Looking at this also, if not to big CBR1000RR 08-11 (ABS Model) - King Carbon But Tweeks do it at the same price. King Carbon Carbon Rear Hugger - Demon Tweeks So with forum discount it's going to be cheaper to buy from Andy at Demon tweeks on here than through the maker of the hugger
That hugger looks quite nice, anyone got a picture fitted. What's forum discount, should have a look really !!
I had the yoshi and my mate had the akra but now I have the leo I can say its far louder than both.plus I sold my yoshi and had Enough for a leo and carbon exhaust cover from italy so win win lol.
We have traders at the bottom of the forum. All been very good and Andy is our contact for Demon tweeks. give him a bell and he will be able to offer you forum discount for being a member. just 1 of the Hugh benefits of this forum Andys Profile View Profile: Demon Tweeks - The CBR1000RR Fireblade Forum
Matt, that's the same as the other one which is a carbon version of the standard hugger that comes as standard with the 08-11 blade, I'll post a picture in 10 of mine
Has anyone fitted the 'Carbon King'/Demon Tweeks hugger and have any photos of it fitted or opinions on it. Reading a few other members thoughts it appears as though the genuine Honda hugger is the best fit/ finish etc but at £280 or whatever for the carbon version I think not. I have come across a hugger that I have been informed is an exact copy of the genuine Honda carbon version at a fraction of the price so maybe this would be an option. Also seen another version that is sold by several sellers ( Zero Limits/Pro Fibre/Bikers Discount ) but I do not know if it looks massive from the chain side ? Thanks for any photos if anyone has any.
I'd give Zero Limits a wide berth! Virtually everything on their site states a 40 day lead time, I tested them out for a Carbon Hugger and lost patience at 44 days, fecked em off and got an OEM one from my local Honda Dealer for £175 in 24 Hrs flat.
