they are strict so make sure you have some wadding or wire wool just in case. real shame i cant make this but g/f's only have 1 b'day a year unfortunatley. as soon as she sorts her licence though this wqont be happening again as i'll just buy her a day for her b;day instead
Sure we will all dive in to help Dave 'apart from me, im shit at tools' I just had visions of you in the back of of the transit building the bike whilst Jimbo's driving it.
I've got the baffle fitted in mine. Not sure what it makes? Because they leave the novice lads until last I was going to have a noise test with the baffle out, see what it makes. If it fails? I'll go to the back of the Q and put the baffle in, then hope it makes it. Beowolf tri oval, should be ok somewhere along the lines?
There was a lad there on Tuesday who's bike was 108db with baffle in with a bit of help from another biker they got it to pass.So don't worry even if it fails there will be someone there who can help.
My bike was too loud on the ride by noise test they do at donington on the pit wall. All they said was dont worry just stay away from the pit wall as you go past lol They dont seem too bothered about noise testing.
at all MSV tracks you do(and you have to show them, both parts) other tracks aren't as strict with showing, but yes,you do need to have a licence.
If you dont have a road license im guessing you can get like an ACU license or something? I got disqualified for dangerous driving and want to get into track riding!
im very jealous with your oulton park - the nearest to me is morgan park and its a 2 hour trip one way so by the time you get there your buggered - hope you have a great time - ill be wishing i was there.
yes you can ride with an ACU,but to get this you still need to show a licence of sorts, but there are exceptions for young un's.
The bike didnt come with a baffle for the exhaust. the guy i bought it from said it passed at oulton just didnt know if exhausts can become louder as they wear in? (bit of a shot in the dark there!!!)
make sure you have warmed up your bike properly before you go for noise test, this makes a big difference.
reet chaps,i'm having amare with this garage.claire is holiday and no one else at no limits office can help, they hgave sent a her a message but she is in florida atm so not expecting much in the way of replies.will be having words when she gets back!!! i tried ringing oulton to sort it but they said i need to speak to NL,tried to explain to the girl but weas like talking to an automated machine. if i get any info back i'll let you know.
