Had a look in the local Stealers today. Nothing serious, just a bit of fishing around BPL Honda showroom, Plenty of deals to be done. Got a rumble of what mines worth "aprox" the only trouble, what I'd be looking at to change to, even MrsB said I need another ten years before I'd need to consider a Sofa To answer your question. iMO if you want to do it. Do It. No regrets and all that shizzle
All depends how much it's gonna cost you ? Bike wise I sold my 09 last year and bought a 12 and the difference is only really in the suspension apart from looks. Suspension difference is like night and day and I'm no racer but the suspension is so much better on the 12. If your only having to pay a small difference go for it , if its a fair bit I would wait and see what next year brings as surely Honda can't drag their heels much more with a replacement.
I'm with Beavis! The Zero % interest and 5 years is good, however when I bought mine in March non-ABS could be had for £9999.00 ABS were £10500 2014 Blade should be a major upgrade hence why they wanna shift stock before the new bike leaks to the press.
Yes they will PX I have been offered £7500 against a new 2013 Model from my local store I think that is a good price.
I just bought my bike from Hunts and know John just through bikes although have never actually met him ! If anyone is considering changing give John a call with your best price to change and ask him to beat it. Tell him Ian put you on to him for a great deal, he has beaten any deal that I have sent his way.
Hunts have a coupe of very clean pearl white 12 plate bikes for about 9k used, could be a cheaper swap but no cheap finance may make new cheaper than used
As above, not that cheap for new. Plenty of Dealers have been selling 2012 for 10k ish. This looks a good buy 2013 HONDA CBR1000RR FIREBLADE 1000cc £9499 - for sale at Blade Honda in Abingdon, Reading and Stratford FIREBLADE&ENGINECC=1000#eq1 pre-reg £9499
Unless they go for some radical changes? I personally can't see where they are going to change the current blade, well not if they intend to keep it for the average budget?
I predict the Kitchen sink will be lobbed at the Blade by Honda for 2014! Expect the folowing Traction control DECENT ABS! Adjustable Power maps More Power! May be, just may be active Sussies!
From the tips we're seeing about next years blade, and the deals that are about for the current model, it does seem that the dealers want to ensure they sell all of their 2013 stock. I'm guessing a radical change for next years blade, just do some browsing on the web and you'll see that the V4 engine configuration is the route ahead. Just a matter of if it comes next year or the year after. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=20...Af0soHYDw&sqi=2&ved=0CDsQsAQ&biw=1366&bih=643
Like you mostly suggest, I will wait till the end of the year and see what Honda surprise us with. I even had a dream about it last night (so sad). New bike did not have V4 but was fitted with quick shifter? And three power modes Inc one for replacement exhaust with 225 hp and Matt black!! Dream on.
