The rare and shy Bike Stig, bred into the classic "I was all like, Braaaaaaapppp!!!" Shape, cannot rest in any classic position other than the Zen yoga "dropped it down a cog and threw it into the roundabout" stance, is seen here during some down time while his next bike is prepared for him to twat around the track. Soon, his handlers will pick him up and slot him into the saddle, carefully bending his Kung Fu grip fingers around the clip ons...
Oh no, he's grown some. That means the rutting season is upon us. Watch out ladies. And Suzuki riders....
Just had a chance to look through them all Steve. Awesome, thanks for braving the wet to get some stunning shots.
glad you chaps had a good day regardless of the weather (and mishaps).and it's not only about riding, the craic in the garage makes the day enjoyable.
This should be live in a couple of hours, first session ever on my track bike, 20 minutes give or take the first two laps are follow the leader the next couple isn't much quicker lesson learnt K2's and rain don't mix, you'll see evidence of this if you don't get bored of me wobbling around the corners, you'll also notice John binning his blade 'road' after shell oils, first lap about 1.30 in, so off you go have a watch, I've broad shoulders http://youtu.be/umcDA_D64lc
Worth checking so gopro forums / doing a bit of a google - I think you will be able to get that footage off the camera - sure I have done something similar and got it back, its just because the end of the was not saved cleanly but cut off so to speak
Struggling al, if its a video that has become corrupt and stored to the card or a video that has been deleted then its recoverable apparently. But because the camera didn't have chance to write it to the card in the crash, its gone.
Forgive my ignorance of the Gopro system, does it store the data in ram before it writes to card, then?
i'm not sure how it works exactly but if the cam gets turned off before you stop recording it will lose the data, happened to me a few times and also does the same with the contour cams.
sorry had to reload, ive updated the link and its now playing ok, in public go easy eh Oulton park 31 july 2013 popping the track day cherry - YouTube
Sure about that mate? Mine run out of battery loads of times on tour and the recording simply stopped at the point of the camera loosing power- Unless it loosing batt power different?
i suspect it knows the battery is low so writes the file to the card, lost a bit of footage in the past through turning off before stopping recording
CAPTION CONTEST NEEDED And this one - Can see why the GoPro failed - the case broke open in the crash and the camera left the box and bounced - good advert for the toughness of it!
