Do you not have a PCV? and aren't you meant to fit an O2 eliminator instead?

If the lanbda sensor plug was twisted able and not a resistor what would that do ?

I had a bolt supplied with my Yoshi which I fitted into the hole. Possibly an M5 or M6 size

Il slam one in on Monday cheers. I was wondering about the wire twisting as one of my bikes has that done and wondered what effect it would have ?

The lambda probe that comes with the power commander Autotune unit/bazzaz is m18x1.5(expect this size installed in race headers) and the smaller oem probes that's often fitted to bikes after 08 was m14x1.5.

The m14 size bung can often be found in the likes of halfords as its the same size as some engine sump plugs. M18 bungs can be found on the bay or some auto parts stores may stock these.

But as mentioned would have expected the exhaust co to have supplied a bung with the exhaust.

What wires are you talking about?

Do u meant the wires getting twisted when unscrewing the probe or using a wire to bridge the connector where a O2 eliminator goes?

The O2 elimator wires instead of havin a resistor are jus twisted together ?

Nice one thanks il go halfords for bung

Pretty sure if u just bridge out the wires u will get a fuel injection (Fi) warning light on the dash! Does with most bikes hense reason for the O2 eliminator as it tricks the ECU into thinking the sensor is still plugged.

Virtually all sensors work on a resistance reading being transmitted to a Bike/vehicle/electrical/mechanical device's ECU/PCB etc

Resistance readings change with heat so the sensor will transmit varying readings depending on the heat it's exposed to.

Knowing this resistance, or it's acceptable parameters, will let you bypass said sensor (if safe to do so) with a 10p resister from RS/Maplins etc inserted between the two wires going back to the ECU etc

If you want it looking neat with no hassle then an £15 O2 eliminator is the way forward.
If you want it done for £10p then go the DIY route!

    Nice one thanks for that.
I asked because I had a blade thst had them twisted and wondered if it may effect the runnin of it
My one now I have used the resistor from Maplin method
