Met the wife and kids up in town for lunch. They were filming a Bollywood movie in the centre of Glasgow today, called London apparently. Or at least that is the working title. They had a London bus there as well as old police cars and so on. On talking to the guy apparently it costs nothing to film in Glasgow, but they pay for the road diversions and any police presence required. And Glasgow (the city) made $25million from World War Z apparently.
Flight done, from the little I seem so far looks amazing here in Mexico, just having room service food which is lovely and a few beers
Nice one Remal. Off to Marbella for 5 days next week for our anniversary. Can't wait for that. And we will be travelling kid free too.
freakin worked my ass off all day - its now friday night - im having myself some takeaway and hang out on the lounge for a movie the world could end and i couldnt give a toss - nothings getting me to move ... except maybe a touch of after dinner sex (of course)

Resued a fellow biker Poor beggar had just picked up a Triumph 955 that he'd bought off eBay. Saw him sat in a layby and gave him the thumbs up to check he was OK. He wasn't. Battery was knackered. Another biker also pulled over to help him. Between us we got him going again and I gave him my jump leads just in case he needed them again. It's nice helping people out. I must do it more often The other bloke was riding a Pan European and it made me think of this.
this I why I get so confused when im over there for a visit. over here the bars only do about five different beers, if you dont like them you go home lol
Took the youngest to get her ears pierced. She's 11 and starts big school in September so not that young any more. Missus wasn't overly keen but agreed some time ago that if we hadn't sorted it and promised her that she could have it done, then she would probably have got her stepmum to take her without our knowing. As a result of my wise use of the 7 Ps the missus got her some nice real gold studs and hurt me to the tune if £55 Also finally got the motivation to sort my road cycle out. Hopefully start doing some miles soon.
Here we just throw money at the problem and get more beers!!! Seriously, we are lucky for choice, loads of brewery's and pubs doing different stuff every place so makes it ok!! Still wouldn't mind trying yours
Funny that, I just got back from a pub in the village with new owners. The chap with me asked for Fosters (honest, he's just an acquaintance) and they said 'no'. He countered with 'you've got a Fosters pump'. The came back with ' we're new here and we were told its not a good seller'.... I was okay though as they had Guinness and Guinness extra cold... So down here you don't necessarily get the piss of your choice either...
sure come over and sample some while checking out some proper country lane road racing im a bit of a Guinness snob, yet to find a nice pint over there, well around bristol and bognor areas anyway lol
We're just voices in the wilderness here, happy if the plumbing is kept clean. Every time the subject of where to go for a mini break comes up I try to toss Dublin in as casually as possible but get over ruled.
FInally got my Nasty little Piccasso welded up to pass its MOT, and celebrated by taking my Lil Lad (9yrs) to the beach at Frinton. After watching a kiddie leave the computer and consoles alone and dig holes....smash castles...collect shells and play in the sea on a raft and body board. made the empty bank and £300 quid to fix the car Totally worth while! Roll on end of the month...Isle of wight were coming to invade you next! lol
Got back in the UK from holiday yesterday. Today I had that nasty 'post holiday feeling' when you stand on the bathroom scales and wonder if you should have indulged so much!

thats a good thing...dublin is a scummy hole now lol. stick to county kerry lol and on the subject of what I did today, clocked a 160 mile vloggers ride out.was good craic and a hell of a feed near the end, hopefully I get more days out like that before the ice comes.
