Decided to remove my rear foot pegs today to clean up the lines of the bike, so I set aside a couple of hours to do this. While trying to remove the R&G tail tidy that was factory fitted when I brought the bike from new, I found one of the Allen bolts had been rounded off, so I ended up having to unbolt the rear sub frame to do it! So 3 hours later after giving everything a good clean while it was all off I felt like a good job done. Am wondering how I tackle the dealer though who fitted it.

Does make bike look a lot better - I got street hooks fitted in place of pegs = luggage points, been dead handy at times

And I got a dealer to do it for fear of fcuking it up...

The dealer fitted the tail tidy and they f@€ked up one of the bolts! So will have to get a dremel or similar and cut a flat into the bolt and extract and put a new one in, it's hard to find a decent dealer these days

Looks lovely and clean removed but I decided to keep mine fitted as they protected my tail end when I slid the bike down the road. Will be a lot more expensive to fix after a slide than if you have pegs fitted so the visual benefit versus the protective benefit goes to protection for me. Will probably be getting engine casings etc soon too.

God I sound miserable this morning huh....
