Hi , just wondered how many miles you've done so far this year , I bought my bike end of feb 2013 and its just under 4,000 now , Not bad I reckon with all the bloody snow we had , Or is that rubbish mileage ? I would say about 3,500 two up , So what have you done ?
Hi Barney I bought my 09 blade in late Sept with 600miles on the clock and she's now done almost 6k. That's all dry riding too And I don't commute on her
Bought mine last year July 2012 with 1 mile on her and she is showing 8250 miles now! unfortunately in all weathers lol
Beat me done 2700 on mine since I got it in December . Although one of my Rides was in the snow I just needed to get out !
Lot more than many barney... No idea tbh, must be pushing 12k since this time last year? R1 on 42k now... Bought it with 18k on it march 2012 lol... 2 Scotland tours, 2 euro tours, god knows how many ride outs, and about 5 commutes to work
Don't shed took much of a tear Barney I took my 2011 HRC to Hunts for a part ex and they offered me £6600 for it and that's an ABS and the reason it was so low ....the crime was I had done all of 9000 miles in two years ...now put it back in the garage and don't use it that's a good boy.
Think I've only managed around 2000 miles this year, but thats down to me changing jobs and moving house. Last year I managed 5000 miles
Bought mine in November 2011 now on 9459 miles.Did take her out in dry conditions during the winters but won 't now after seeing what that road salt does.Will buy a winter hack for my fix though.So it will be an ornament from when the first gritter comes out.Eyeing up a mates z750 59 plate when he buys his daytona.Why he is buying one I don't know, he has 2" chicken strips on either side on that zed
That is some serious mileage mate.That r1 has been a very good reliable bike.Would you have done it on the blade though if it were still on the road?
Got my bike late December didn't really ride until March Now got 4,900 miles Lemans and Ireland added 1,950 on their own good times
