Looking at getting this installed, the 76mb package. Has anyone got it and can give me your views and alternative companies if not recommended.

Had this installed when we moved house back in March. keep your eyes peeled they do a lot of 1/2 price offers too

    pros:
    stable
    fast
    great customer service
    no problems (so far)

    cons:
ugly as sin modem and router (yep 2 separates)
even though BT own them you will not get MOTOGP next year (sob)

    you decide! :)

I've had talk talk, for the last 8 months & they've been great so far, I wanted plus net but they were I available in my area, I think they make a discount if you pay your line rental in advance, talk talk have knocked a third off for me, works out around £90

The Father-in-law has Plus Net and seems really happy with it.

He pays his line rental up front, but I can't remember how much discount he gets for doing so.

With regards to service, he has never had any issues with them & before he upgraded to unlimited download they warned him when he got near to his limit.

I agree that the BT modem is Fugly. He ended up buying his own router as it was a better/higher spec model than the one Plus Net supplied

Also with Plusnet, service was excellent at install time and generally, no problems day to day either. I've got their fibre offering, basically BT Infinity and it's superb - very quick indeed.

I agree with Ray - my only gripe is that the router they gave was pretty basic and the wifi signal pretty poor. Otherwise, I'd recommend Plusnet :)
