None of the above done yet. I'll leave that till tomorrow. What time are we meeting at the finavon services 11.00/11.30? Never mind just searched back. 12.00 at the services then over to the coast road and up to Stonehaven. This fish better be as good as you all say
Meeting trev in Perth at 11.15 so we'll be up at finavon just after 12 Been at the chipper a few times lately and it is good,so good that they are officially the best chipper in the UK
Sounds nice And expensive Anyone going to stick up a map route of tomorrows route???????? Chop chop now
Lets just wing it I do believe the Queen is up at Balmoral for her summer hols,so baffles out of exhausts for a flyby Should we come across a few range rovers tho, would advise not sitting in between them, someone may take a potshot at us
Ah the good old wing it trick. Been a fan of that for years I might bring the GoPro along for some footage. I want to get some footage of the run down from Glenshee, as I forgot to switch it on during the Scotland tour.
Had a great run, cheers guys Even the bit of rain we had towards the end didn't spoil it as it stopped shortly after and I was dry by time I got home
Well once again this forum comes up trumps when it comes to the guys we meet on here. I got up early this morning and got the bike ready to meet the guys at Finavon services. Only I was way to excited to wait around the house. So I headed off early and got there around 45 minutes before anyone else. Bike ready for the off Then the beautiful RC8 arrived and Andy and I (I'm shit with names so this might be wrong), started to have a bit of a blether before Ross and Trev turned up. We then hit the coast road up to Stonehaven for the fish supper I had been told was not too shabby (It says on the window it was voted best in UK) Pic of the fish and chip shop Once we had a good chat and finished off our fish (which was damn good), we decided that we should get on the road as the weather started to come in off the north sea. From Stonehaven Ross led the way up to Braemar and kept a good pace for us to stop and have a chat in no time. Pics from Braemar of the bikes From Braemar it was onwards and upwards to Glenshee and unfortunately the rain started to catch up with us to stop us fully enjoying this fast stretch of road. Although from the sounds of things behind me they were having a right laugh as Andy near went off the side of the road Once over the top we stopped and Andy and myself headed for home, with Ross and Trev heading back south bound and home. All in all a great day out with like minded blokes and not even a bit of rain spoiled my day. Thanks guys
