2006/7 Carbon Fibre Hugger

    Looking for a carbon hugger for a 2006/7 model.
    If anyone wants to sell one, let me know

    If in doubt, carbon wrap it.

    What's the deal when doing that ?
    Have you got to sit there for hours smoothing / cutting etc so it doesn't end up like a bag of nails ???

    Took me about half an hour in the kitchen. One large sheet and the missus hairdrier to get it in to shape.

    Gone and bought a sheet of carbon wrap - gonna attempt to do the hugger & chainguard.
    Any tips for when doing it ?

    If you have a degreaser then use it to clean the the surface first and some of where you might wrap underneath. Do it indoors on a clean surface like the kitchen table. And you may not be able to do the recess for the front bolt hole properly, but don't worry as I just cut a tiny slit and pushed the bolt through then covered with a small square patch when fitted to the bike.
