    Just fitted Akra Sports exhaust.

I am wanting to fit the exhaust baffle. DSCF1069[1].jpg

The bolt in the baffle doesn't fit through the associated hole in the exhaust so I presume its not the original one.

What type of bolt comes with it? I have a bolt with a smaller head but just worried about dropping it down inside the carbon cover.

    Thanks,

    Ian.

the easiest way (at least to gaurantee you dont drop the bolt in)is to remove the can itself and just use a same thread bolt as you have, just with a smaller head, very much an after though on akky's behalf.

depending what track i'm on depends if i need the baffle in or not,but it's so tricky to get the bolt in without taking the can off i've given up,i just leave the baffle in now,as it's a pain to remove the rear sets all the time to get the can off.

funny thing was,i crashed a few weeks back and cracked the carbon end cap,i pulled out 6 small bolts that i'd dropped in there from changing the baffle lol

dont worry,if you drop 1 in,it's not going anywhere, well not into the actuall exhaust at least.

wont be a socket as you cant get a socket in there,it's an allen headed bolt as he has, just a smaller head

Just an update - I managed to get the bolt fitted with the exhaust on. I used a Allen Key socket from a Halfords Pro Socket Set to insert / tighten the bolt by hand, and then did the final tightening with an Allen Key. Magnetic pickup device came in handy when I did drop the bolt - easy enough to retrieve it.
