2012 rear shock upgrade

    You can sometimes feel a bit of a shudder if the wheel's not balanced correctly.

    The more pressure you put into the brakes can eliminate the vibration to a degree.

    To be honest you need to get it checked out. It could be a number of things without me actually seeing the bike.

    Yup thats another possibility along with wheel/head stock bearing probs.

    are you talking to yourself now colin :)

    new tyres will be going on within the next 2 weeks so at least that problem can be eliminated

    Out of interest do you have the original little hugger or one of the larger huggers on your bike? If the little original one did they have to mod it to accommodate the 2012 shock as I've just bought the 2012 shock for my 08 bike

    Needed to replace my standard 08 hugger with a 12 plate one. Not really practical to mod it as you'd have to cut a hole in it. As Ian says they're cheap enough anyway.
