I would Ken but NOBODY makes any other wheels It feels really compact in comparison with blade, ducati Does that mean you don't like it Ken ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
No, I am leaning towards it being a replacement for the Blade, to be honest. Now you tell me there's no other wheel option though, I'd just park it against a wall on it's left.
The perfect solution lol, there are options with previous vfr wheels but for cost and weight not worth the effort IMO It's a great all around bike, I am still happy with it ! Which as you know is a miracle as normally I would of swapped it for something else already ! Just noticed they are back 0% apr again as well so could be a good time to do a deal although there are plenty of good 2nd hand examples about as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Mind you, when I get my new double garage built, it would look nice lined up on the back wall with the Blade and the 550f (swing arm side out, of course).
I might be doing it a disservice, though. I had a 1200GS filtering beside me in traffic last night and that thing looks like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle. It looks like the builders have left and forgotten to take the scaffolding down.
I do like the CB1000R's, they appear to be an ideal commuter bike with all the power you will ever need but in a light weight and comfortable package, when i come to change my 954 blade, this bike (and the Speed Triple) are at the top of my list..... In Repsol (dream machine) paint though.
was at local dealers yesterday with she who must be obeyed who was trying to convince me to get a hrc cb1000.she said the new vfr 1200 looks like a Cyclops! I really like it though.she also liked the cbf1000 as it had nice 'eyes and ears? 'so took her out and spoilt her with a quick blast on the big ft500,she weren't that impressed
I swapped from Cb1R to blade to VFR1200, the VFR won't slow u down at all, it's comfier but you don't feel the speed like u would on a blade 120 feels like 100 on a blade. I'm not saying the VFR is quicker, but very deceiving. I have just done an Advanced Corning training course and you can chuck a VFR about, however would pick a blade having had both. The CB1r does everything the others will do to 90, with a bit of comfort and easier to throw round B roads, but you won't do 90+ for long
That is a cracking bike Jamie I test rode one not long ago same scheme as yours and bloody loved it! My only grip was Mr Honda no givi steering damper! Which it needs can be bloody flighty at high speeds noticed you fitted one! But saying that I much prefer the CB1kR to the Speed triple it felt like a diesel it was gruff and the seat sloped forward pushing you uncomfortably on to the bars but Street triple and Daytona were stunning and that sound OOOOHHHH! My own wee naked CB1 400 is a wee gem and it can top 120 but that's not what it's all about! It's all about the twisties and the way they make you feel very light, very nimble and despite wringing her neck your barely breakin the limit and not looking at some jail time like with the Blade! I wouldn't be with her
