    Hey Zoe

Did they have to alter the Ecu or remap it or anything like that !?

Did you get new headers of just the end can !? :D

Fit a full Yoshimura and take the bike to a dyno for new mapping. Bazzaz is as good as any other. Don't forget your new air filter from K&N.
ALL THIS WILL GIVE YOU AN EXTRA 10HP :)
I've tried to load picture, but it wouldn't work :-(((((

Zest, Pix are a piece or piss mate!

Transfer Pic from Phone/Camera to a Folder on ya Pewter.

Next click the 'upload Pic' icon on the above task bar (third one in from left!)

The default Tab 'From Pewter' should be selected then just navigate to your Bike Pix folder from the 'Choose File' link, then once chosen then click the 'Upload' link!

    Simpleeesss!

    Akrapovic

I fitted the Akrapovic slip-on end-can with expansion chamber mid-section as advertised on the Honda website (accessories). Much lighter than the standard can, sounds great, road legal and as far as I'm aware warranty valid (or why would Honda advertise it?). Now trying to find a slider to protect it. R&G make one for the standard can but not this apparently!!

I have the r&g exhaust slider that fits the akra. I bought it when i bought the exhaust but never fitted it. I rang r&g at the time and they confirmed it fitted, but it fits low down the pipe, not up the top as you'd expect. You can have mine cheap if you want it as I'll never fit it..... I'll dig it out of storage when I'm passing and get a photo for you and find out which r&g ref it is.

Yeah sorry about the link am crap at that sort of thing,it's fleabay item number 181191297854.
Very nice bit of kit ,they say it has some sort of "nano coating" on it,no idea what that is ! but £599 isn't a bad price,it's the legal one but I just left servo lead off so valve is open all the time, runs sweet.

Ah, that's why they're cheap because they have all the Cat stuff in the link pipe which no one wants so I spose they're having trouble shifting them?

Leaving the servo lead off may not I suspect give you the same performance as the non Cat Akro?

    I suspect
You are right, but its fast enough for 49 yr old me, i wonder how many people can actually tap into the performance of these bikes, would be an interesting experiment. Power over ability, tyres, road surface ect, i think theres a thesis in there somewhere !

Hi all, iv just joined the forum, Iv moved up the world to a 20th anniversary blade after having 2 600rr, im after a new exhaust as the standard exhaust is to quiet.... I like to be heard coming....

Iv always had yoshimura so im going to stay with that brand...

Iv found a site that sells the Yoshi R77 in carbon for £742 or a full system for £1086 delivered, will I benefit much out of a full system ? also would I need a power commander and o2 eliminator for the system.... ??

    Cheers

    Pete.

    Hello Pete
Best person to ask that question is Navvy he has been running a yoshi slip on and just recently upgraded to the full system
