You will find that as soon as you get off the bike in pit lane, another rider will get straight on it; they dont get a rest & I shouldnt imagine there is time to fit cameras etc. I did this school in June. Lets see if you can beat 95%
1:52.3 was my best on the blade. Quickest of the day by 3 seconds Sweet! Could go a fair bit quicker though I reckon, it was comfortable. Ron Haslam does 1:41s on the race school bikes, and Liam Haslam 1:39s according to the instructor!
I will be happy if I have a score card even close to that mate! First time at donnington, first time on track except a nice ride around knockhill earlier this yr, first time on a cbr600rr. Holly crap that's a lot of firsts! But as long I as there is an improvement in my riding and I have a good day I will be more than happy mate! Oh an the gopro was going to be fixed on his helmet rather than on the school bike, so no time would be wasted in that respect. But just need to take the normal camera n take some snaps of the place before we start out sessions! Just hope I don't get too giddy on the day an the brain stops working! Really looking forward to it tho.
Our sign on time is just before 3pm but we will be hanging around before then to see what's happening at the track!

I did the 600 course back in 2006, It was amazing!!! I went back and did the blade course in 2008. this is what made me realise I had made a massive mistake buying an R1!! I sold it and got my blade in 2010! You will learn a hell of a lot from it, I was so lucky that I had Jon Kirkham (BSB rider) as my instructor. Donnington is a great circuit, my favourite of all the tracks I have ridden. I'm sure you will enjoy it, hope the sun shines for you all!!!!
I just want to say to everyone going on Wednesday - Have fun . I wish I was coming but with just getting back from Florence and not being able to get time off work I can't . I will get down there one day; I'm so jealous. Make sure to get photos.
