Here are my vids, 3 from the afternoon, didn't record the morning. This is the first vid, then search my other vids for the other two, Tyke, you take me just before the mountain about 13 mins in on the first one Nice action going into the mountain http://youtu.be/tzvyXO4unTg PS oh and I need to be a bit more "assertive" on the overtakes, I think, keep getting stuck behind people
That was close when the bike in front seemed to slam on in the corner. That had to be YT getting some air after the double chicane looking good though .
Great video. You did ok mate rather be safe and bring the bike home in one piece.Cadwell is quite narrow not giving a lot of room for overtaking. That fireblade guy had the straight line speed but not the cornering confidence.Thats why you were all over him.
Yea, all good. Thanks mate. Was good meeting ya dude, funny feeling we'll meet again. Already scrimping to pimp the blade and turn it into a track bike. Think I might learn the lines next time out (wherever that may be) and not wind the throttle as much. Nah, 2nd thoughts...bollocks to that.
2nd vid. @ 12.40 hall bends. Repsol blade. Have to own up.....its me. Wobbling around all over the bloody track. Totally inconsistent due to several things: dont know the lines cos I'm shit slow at learning tracks.....specially top of track on fast sweepers. Kept missing gears due to bent gear shaft from earlier off in wet. Slightly un nerved at taking someone out who might be stuffing it up inside. Had been sliding tyres all day.....waiting for another off. And bloody knackered!!! And my fuel light was on, off, on, off.....wtf???? Obviously didn't like been thrown up the mountain in 3rd session lol
Best advice i would give, being no expert, is whatever line you take stick to it. Then if anyone is passin you on either side there is less chance of a collision. Some people were takin mad lines in inters that day, judging from your pics tho you were one of the fastest in the group!
LOL...sounds like you had a hell of a day blaggers, at least your home safe. Sorry I didnt get to say "Hi"
A few pics of me wobbling round cadwell park..........and a few of the bike falling over in the drying 3rd session. was only a slow 'off' at the bottom of the mountain. the 2nd off was a bit quicker....up at chris curves (i think).
