    Alright chaps,
Will be designing new fairing graphics for my RR4 shortly(once I get hold of templates?) and looking for some used fairings - wondered if the RR6/7 fairing would fit? Anyone tried it?

    Cheers

I believe that the 06/07 will fit the 04/05 but not the other way round.
Please feel free to put me right.

I believe the radiator on the 04/05 is too big so most people switch the radiator however hump (member on here) recently fitted one to his, I think he made or adapted a couple of brackets but maybe worth a pm

Interesting thread cos I'd like to know the same. Been looking around at the later fairings for my rr4. Are the tail units still the same?

I have a plain red RR5 one if you're interested?
Still got all my original fairings in a storage unit that need selling at some point.

I'll split the fairings, but they're not all perfect as that's why I changed to the ones I have on now. If you have any ideas on what your looking at spending for individual item then let me know as the nose has some lacquer pulled off by a sticker, the tail has a small bubble in the paint on the underside, both upper side panels are cracked. The lower sides are ok other than for stone chips on the leading edges.

Ah I need the left mid fairing (the one with the indicator attached) as mine is cracked. If yours is ok I'd gladly buy it off you :)

Steve you need top rad mount ( Right only ) off 2007.
    Don't need 05 coolent tank. Won't fit.
Or the left upper fairing mount as it doesn't fit 07 fairing, here's few pic of home made coolent bottle cost 0.99 but could use a Redbull can. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Photo of bottom rad little tight but fits ok u I have cut the fairing little to line the holes up.[IMG]

Yep, I'll pop down to the unit in the next 2 days and get some decent pictures for you to see what it's like.

Here it is. Worst one of the lot though.
Looks ok on the surface of it all, but has some damage.

    Fine scratches on leading edge.

Missing section where top bolt hole goes under the nose.

Crack down the side behind the decal sticker and has a sticker covering on hole in the top used for an auxillary switch.

Muffking you're a star, thanks for getting back to me so promptly. It's a shame that that particular fairing is the worst as that seems to be the case with most blades of this age. It's a little worse than the one I've already got but thanks again anyway :)
