    Hi

Pillion peg removal on RR9, how easy is it to do ?

On the r1 undo four bolts and out they come.

Think there may be more to it on the blade?:(

About a 1 1/2 to 2hr job if your used to getting the spanners out, plenty of threads explaining how to do it and some vids on how to strip down also.

Did mine a week ago so happy to answer any questions

Yes did mine 2 weeks ago when i bought it, +1 above... If you are experienced in fairing removal! Only one thing to remember, remember HOW you take the seat unit off, how you twisted it, which side came off first etc, then you refit the opposite way and all should be good. I almost removed and inner tray to get a socket on the nuts, i imagine a good angled ring spanner would help removal without removing too much other stuff.! Whilst it was all off i gave it all a good clean!!

been toying with doing this for a while but not sure on the look of it. has anyone got a repsol that theyve removed them from and could post up a pic from each side to see how it looks. dont wanna be stripping them off only 2 put back on soon after as not liking the look. if i do it i,ll get rexspeed plates to fit on at same time. thanks all

Not Repsol, but my black beast can show you the look if you want? Just makes the bike look more like the motogp bikes, cleaner lines... Especially if you have a Taylormade fitted! I we were allowed slightly smaller no. plates then that would be very nice indeed.

Tyke...slow down mate you are picking the wrong hot girls, in your situation you need to be finding legless versions, will save you a lot of hassle

I put the Sato street hooks on - not quite as clean a look but very handy for being able to put pegs back on when needed.

Looks a lot better without the pegs - looks like I'll be attempting this over the winter too :)
