Great photos Jason .I bet you are super Buzzin on that .Should get the best of it when you go away ! Can you not get a machined sound limiter (tyke) Colin ..that works the same but makes it less annoying ?
Cheers do need to try and put some miles on it before the Spain trip getting it remapped tommorow with new Yoshi exhaust on , have put the Akro exhaust on eBay for £1400 or offers not sure what is worth but new £1880 on Akro website Regarding breakdown cover I am we'll covered if you were following another thread , it seems I have bmw and AA cover so a sticking starter switch shouldn't be a problem if it happens but will look it up on google , cheers for the head ups . .
Dude, message not just to you but everyone. Watch brakedown cover and what it includes, if for example the worst happens and there's a spill recovery will often not be covered by breakdown- happended to us a year ago his weekend, had to organise and pay to get the bike recovered.
Went to the garage today who are doings the dyno run on the bmw 189bhp but he is not happy with the midrange fueling on it so still has it . Here is my new Yoshi exhaust with twin outlet ,GIV is getting one on his new bike I think they look awesome and sound even better.
Great looking bike Jason, both exhausts look lovely. I can see why you went for the Yoshi though, looks awesome. Out of interest, what was the torque figure ? 189 is a whole lot of bhp ride carefully, well safely anyway lol
Lovely bike there Jas, I'd love one one day cos I am a beemer man had all the beemers but never a beemer bike.Keep eyeing one up at a customers bike shop in all black.Better wait and see what dividends I get this year coming
Cheers not seen the full report yet as my eyes went straight to the bhp(cant think why) but the BMW does seem to be about riding it above 9000rpm to get the full affect at how quick these things are, where as the blade is full range especially midrange but the BMW would wave bye bye at the top end of the rev range.still yet to have a run out on it due to work,my daughter oh and the odd trackday.
I am hoping the sale of the Akra exhaust pays for it had an offer of £800 so far on eBay but declined it going to hold out as it must be worth at least a £1000 with them been £1880 new in the uk cheaper if you import.
Looks fantastic Jason, we're going to have a compact but wonderful display of motorbikes to show off on our trip, Well, providing a certain black blade gets a wash before going
I just heard jimbo say how much he likes the look of a Yoshi! And we both know they sound better than the akra don't we Jason Sweet as f*ck bike!
I still don't understand what happened there.... I need a remap to spit flames apparently but dyno session is next week so round 2 is coming my friend
