Bridge was packed out good and proper. Parking was overflowing, so was the carpark opposite, and the road for a couple hundred yards and the pavement, where I ended up. One of the, frankly, odd shaped girlies handing out free toilet paper. Shawn, Keithy and Jeff planning the next move and deciding against the 50 yard long queue for the burger van. The geezer on the far right looked a bit dodgy. What was he up to? Jeff finally decided to give it a go and spent half an hour, yes 30 minutes in the queue. We wanted to wait for him to get to the front, then ask him to get one each for us too, but he might have duffed us up. The queue after the raffle draw, after most people had buggered off TandBiskets arrived and had to park at my house and walk back. He looked a bit warm by the time he got to us. Thankfully there was no queue at all for the cold drink machine. There was some Aussie geezer there but we kept away from him in case he knocked one of us over trying to get past in the crowd. Bill on his ownsome, in the dark. Happy birthday Bridge, we're pretty lucky to have you around here.
Got home in one piece, just! Good to meet up & have a yarn/ moan. Ken, the Aussie bloke, was that Rolf Harris?
Might have been, not certain, as nobody pointed him out all evening. Apparently he was walking around with a young girl all evening. Glad you enjoyed yourself and that you didn't faint from hunger on your way home. I'll be stealing your parting phrase whenever I stray off my manor from now on.
Parting phrase, which one, i know it will have expletives , so don`t` forget to use the asterisk button!
It was when you put your plugs in, zipped up your onseie and said "Right! What's plod like around here then?" Snot nearly came out my nose.
Well that looked like a good doo! and also on your doorstep .Are you surprised how many bikers there are within a 50 mile radius ?.
There's a lot of bikes around here mate, no doubt about it, but even they were surprised just how many turned up. Over 600, apparently. http://www.bridgemotorcycles.com/ne...ness-with-a-massive-birthday-party-bike-night Loads of pictures on there website including a few of some handsome bladers, but quite a few with my 954 in it too.
Handsome bladers! count me out on that statement. Loads of foto`s , especially of the odd shaped uman, & Rolf Harris.
