well my blade is getting tuned next week at SBK city so i was trolling the finding all the articles on Bazzaz fuel management systems and found this article. very interesting read! Honda CBR1000RR vs. BMW S1000RR - Super Streetbike Magazine
What a cracking read , hope Honda haven't read it though or we 'll never get an all singing and dancing blade !
I concur. Honda have always denied the FireBlade needs electronic aids for its frame to handle its power efficiently. Does it lag that far behind the competition to warrant their introduction now. Just what are the real world advantages over what we already have. If its a question of 'We've made this bike so powerful, that you'll need to turn it down to ride it' then doesn't that beg the question of 'then why did you bother'... I'd prefer that Honda continued putting the effort into carefully matching the tuning of the power plant/chassis to the road, (where I am) than to an occasional foray onto the grid, (where the advantages of TC, launch control and get me home on what fuel's remaining come into their own, and where I'll (and I suspect most of their customers will never be)) Just an opinion though...
