Anyone had to glue the rubber piece onto their Chinese seat cowl? My Auctmarts ABS plastic one came down with the fairings, but the rubber bum thingy was not attached. Not sure what type of glue to use as I dont want to melt the plastic using a glue causing some weird reaction to the plastic.

    PS great weather today:mad:

Just a dab of silicone will be fine, it doesn't need to be a proper glue. Do you have any bathroom sealant kicking around in the garage?

Yeah, aren't these the bits that you stick on the tail piece around where the cowl sits on top of? In which case they just stop the cowl from rattling the paint off the tail.

No its the triangular rubber piece, a bum stop!!!! the chinese one does rattle so i may indeed put a smudge of the silicone around the lip where the cowl sits on. the original honda one gets you to stick fancy clear plastic on the rear unit to stop the rattle/marking of the cowl unit. cheers
