After the "Event" ................can ya post up the route?. The reason is I,m up near Dumbarton 2nd week of Sept ( with bikes) and want some good riding roads, twisties etc.
Keep your eye out with Colin .He slipped me some of that Dodgy money the other day and no one will take it ,One guy thought they where Rupees. Lol.
Just done quick weather check - looking superb for tomorrow which is jus as well after 3 tanks of fuel just to get to south side of Glasgow! Talking with Craig route is good distance so perhaps aiming for 10:30 depart worth trying for? Still not sure where we going but it's all good
Hey guys this is turnin out to be a nice wee get together crackin weather, gorgeous roads and the usual amazing company courtesy of our beloved forum! It'll be great catching up! See you all tomorrow dudes
Had hoped to come on this run but sadly too much to do. Only two days at home every fortnight so try to cram in as much as possible. Of out now for an wee blast though. Have a great run guys!
Had a fantastic day, fantastic weather, cracking roads and a great bunch of guys to go for a ride with Start of Glencoe On the Scotsburgring Cheers guys
Also had a great day. I didnt take any pics though as Al had his good camera with him, but I did get some GoPro footage. I'll edit the footage tomorrow night as right now I am a broke man after 10 hours in the saddle and sitting down to a nice cold 1
That was the good news. Now for the bad. Sadly Andy didn't make it very far as he suffered damage to his front wheel which caused him to come off. Thankfully he is ok but his bike is probably a write off.
Thank guys for an epic day! I'll get some pic up tomorrow as with Colin I'm knackered and sore! It looks as tho some bastard's stole my donkey when I'm walking but I know my pain ain't nothin compared to poor Andy's my thought are with you buddy I'm totally gutted for you! The main thing is your alright!
Long day - well worth the cost in fuel! Will also try and post some pics up but proper camera got best ones. I even got sunburned in Scotland.. Real shame about Andy and the KTM - as others say at least he walked away but will prob ache like hell tomorrow.
Few images View at far end Scotsburgring Scotsburgring again Oban at low tide And the folly on top of the hill The boys from the East side (Colin larging it up) When it's 28' and sunny a wind proof top in black is dead handy to wear
Glad you guys enjoyed the rest of your run. It was good to meet up and in many ways I wished I just tagged along a little longer, as it would have saved me a little bit of bother.
Just home now, 960 miles in total but not a drop of rain. Great trip up overall - Sunday was unlucky it did not go to plan but those who got to Oban all had a good time, some even have their stickers.
