Tell you what Al you put Nick Sanders to shame proper riding that remember Al if you come to spain its a holiday not the Dakar.
Few pics from proper camera here: Heading over the line on Saturday Sunday at garage Arrived at the Green Welly Getting juice on 2nd visit to Welly... PhotoStop heading to Glencoe
A massive difference in the Green Welly since we landed on the Scotland Trip as I remember it was wet and freezing and the roads looked like glass .oh happy dayzzzzz
Arrival at Glencoe garage Scotsburgring scenic stop Oban with the Folly How hot was it - scorching given all jackets thrown on floor The Oban crew
Inverray harbour for break on way back May get this a jigsaw for my Mum at Christmas! (I'm in it too!) Monday morning heading for St Marys Loch Road to Longholm passes this so nipped in for photo Met my mate John at Hartside - the road from Penrith Bikes by Ribblehead viaduct
All I can say is thank fook I'm back at the gym again. I've put on around 2 stone in the last year and it really shows in these pics. Time to bring back the bear again
Glad you got home safe and sound Al Eh hum! Eh Sickers! Where the fcuk's mine? I was just about an artic's hood ornament on the Scotburgring! I think I qualify for one of those them there Stickers
That Scotsburgring road is a peach Al. I think I will be visiting it a few more times, so that I can get used to it. It's 1 of those roads that is worth the effort.
Meeting a lorry headin up the middle of the road not bothering its meant to actually be corners gave I think most riders a lil bit of a moment! or to quote Trev his bum was twitching like a rabbits nose!
Thought as much so that's still a full day on the bike plus stops .Pity its getting late in the year now as a two dayer might have been worth thinking about.
Giv there are even better roads closer to you just over the border mate. It would only take a day trip and you would be there and back again, or ride up to the borders the night before. Stay at the same hotel as the last nights stay on the Scotland Tour and then have a fantastic ride out before heading back home.
+1 for this - while it was great to get up to Oban and Glencoe was epic etc. its one hell of treck even over 3 days The roads if been told of / been down in the Borders / D & G are great and as Colin says far easier to get to / enjoy
Yes it was definitely I sphincter puckering moment! The huge fecker appear from nowhere round a s-bend! I honestly thot I was gonna fill my boots
