had some free time on my hands this week, so thought I'd splash a little colour at the blade's bodywork.

so had a look in the paint chest and found some colours that I could work with, so thought feck it.......

I've no idea how its all going to look on the bike yet as I've not even spent anytime working on a new scheme,

Here's the progress so far, tank cover and seat unit are now complete, with just the top and bottom fairing left to sticker up and clearcoat

Ok, so here's the top and bottom fairings with the decals and clearcoat.

I've only added the basic decals under the clearcoat, as i'm still waiting on some others to arrive in the post, but they can be added after and removed easy enough should I decide to change them at a later date.

I decided to paint my lid to match it has a very small graze on the side, its been checked to m,ake sure its safe, so rather than buy a new one.........
I masked the top section off to keep the green and yellow section, then masked out park of the large stars as divider between the top and bottom of the helmet, and used the same colour anthracite that I've used on the bike, removed all the masking and then clearcoted the whole helmet.

Fraid not chaps, I'm a chippy by trade,

Painting is just something I've picked up, I got some tips from a friend that showed me the basics, and the rest I learnt by making massive mistakes on my own bikes.
Ive done about 6 bikes in the last 3 years, so not really a huge amount, but its something I really enjoy doing and saves me a bundle of cash when I crash

That's what I thought Jez, looks like a top man cave!

Cheers Lee, sorry for being nosy just may want some paint done myself at some point and I'm in Kent. The dude I've always used over the years has gone off the boil a little.

Navvy may even turn up ;)
