Just bought a PCV off Shing (not blaming you Shing) for my 12 blade. It's a PCV CBR 1000rr 08 - 11 part number 16-002. General feeling was that this would also be compatible with the 12 blade, however a few doubts were creeping in, so I emailed Dyno Jet and asked the question. Bad news it's not compatible they say, and I need PCV CBR 1000rr 12-13 part number 16-034. Unless anybody knows any different, it looks like I have a PCV for sale (bugger).
That's a ball ache. I guess the sub connector used in the older PCV was dropped for the 12+ models. These things shift really quick so you should have no probs finding a new owner. If it helps I can confirm the M16-013 ( for the CB1000R )fits all Blades. PCCR has also fitted a 16-029 (for CB600F/CBR600F) on his Blade. So this might widen your search
I spoke to Dyno Jet again and they say that Honda changed the wiring harness and eliminated some of the sub looms on the 12/13 blades, so early PCV won't fit. Hense the new PCV for 12/13 blades. Good old Honda, at least dyno jet are keeping ahead of the game. I wonder what will change on the 14 blade ?
There was a thread on ere a few months back Re the cheapest PCV deals about. I remember the PCV for a 2012+ Blade was £30 odd cheaper than for the previous models! Fek knows why but it was! Can't find the thread now but Google is ya friend for prices!
According to Dynojet the PCV for 12/13,blades will not fit earlier models, so this listing saying 2008 - 2013 is a bit dubious ?
It should, the PCV for 12+ uses the conventional 4 injectors and TPS harness so will fit all 08 onwards blades. The 08 -11 PCV is the one you need to watch out for as uses the sub connector so will not be compatible with the 12+ blades. Keep looking on ebay. A 12+ went for 120 the other day! As I said also look for CB1000R and CBR600 PCVs as they will fit all blades.
