I think, maybe, that was his sidestand you saw F1

Road racers on the short tracks tend not to fair overly well. Michael Rutter is one exception. Perhaps their perception is skewed not having post boxes and pubs hurtling past their heads...

The new Dunlop may be worth having a go, but I wonder if the TT blinkers he wears are a bit narrow for that.

Chalk and cheese. Doubt Marquez would beat big John over the mountain :)

Both sets of guys are amazing at what they do. Josh Brooke's did surprise me at this years TT, just shows they all have huge talent, but zoned in to their chosen disciplines.

It will probably come down to wherever Repsol want to sell oil next. If it's Germany, then Bradl's name has got to be up there. He has impressed me this year - had some good results and proven a few times he can take on Rossi and Cal....

Probably was his side stand, flippin show off :)

I'd agree that the transition between road and track racing doesn't appear to be an easy one barr a couple of exceptions as already stated. I do tend to think that the better track riders stand more of a chance on the road (if they have large enough appendages) than the other way around. I also saw Brooks at the TT and have never seen a newcomer quicker past the Ginger Hall before, v impressive.

They asked him this question in Northallerton last week and the crux of it is that he thinks he only has a couple of seasons left in him maximum. He point blankly won't do BSB but didn't rule out a last season in WSB. Mind you he is nuts and will probably do the exact opposite to the above after a crate of Newcastle brown ale.

I think his long term plan is to spend more time at his school in Texas where apparently to drink, ride a few laps, drink, shoot some 50 caliber rifles, drink, drink, sit around a fire pit drinking.......not necessarily in that order, oh and there might be some more drinking I missed out :)

With regards to the Suzuki 2014 situation was it not Donrna that told them to "sod off you can only come back if you merge with some of the teams that is already on the paddock n give them factory support!"?

Think they were getting stitched by Dorna over tyres, all the factory teams get them supplied but Suzuki would have had to pay for theirs as coming back as a new team!

I reckon Scott Redding could be useful on a Honda

Only saw him race 1 BSB Superstock myself this year and he led the race for over 3/4 of it then finished either 2nd or 3rd after having a big moment. Cant remember what race it was.
Thats on a Honda versus kwaks throughout the field so hes deffo doing alright given he has atleast a 20hp deficiency! Theres a reason the whole superstock field is more or less kwaks.

Fair play to the fella, hes double the age of most of the competition

    LOL

Back on topic I know many like Pedrosa. I would rather he win races than George, Yes I know he's a hard nut and amazing rider but I don;t like Dani but dislike George even more So.

    And think of like this

Dani in HRC for 6-7 years. Hayden beat Dani, Stoner came along, Beat Dani to the championship again. And now looking like Marc will so it again. He's a good back up but how many times is he the nearly man.

Come ON HRC get some new blood in. But looks like we have to put up with him on a repsol for next year also

Well here's my 2p's worth lol
I think HRC were swayed by Pedrosa's strong showing at the end of the '12 season, he was leaving Lorenzo standing in the second half.
So he started the 2013 campaign as a good contender for taking the crown with Stoner gone and the rookie Marquez not expected to do much but be in the mix somewhere and probably crash a lot.
Even Marc himself at the start of the year said he didn't expect or think that he would be a contender and that Dani & Jorge would be battling for the top spot.
Obviously he had a change of belief and realisation.
And I reckon so has Honda.
There has been a lot of press speculation about Stoner doing a wild card ride at Phillip Island, which he and Honda have played down saying that there are no plans.
However, my theory is that if Marquez clinches the championship crown by round 16 - 17 then we will see Stoner making an appearance at his home track, which would be quite the money spinner for all concerned, indeed it would be one great battle, Stoner against Marquez.
As for little Dani, he has become the number 2 rider in the team, depending how the last 6 rounds pan out, next year will see him making up the numbers in points in the constructors championship but not in riders.

Right, he`s got talent but no personality. He seems to get so far in a race and stop, he wont push that last extra bit, so i reckon they should get rid of the miserable little shit.

I think Dani's size and weight really goes against him under race conditions and fighting for position.
Watching him at Silverstone he brakes really early into corners, I think it's because he is so light, if he tried braking and harder and later into the corner the bike would stoppie as he isn't heavy enough to keep the rear wheel down, also I bet the anti wheelie system is cranked right up too.
Depending on how 2014 goes I foresee Scott Redding getting Pedrosa's factory seat as he now has a satellite Honda ride and we all know how good he is

We are still missing the one person who made it interesting, Marco Simoncelli, lacking the personalities i`m afraid.
