Cheers Barney .Quick update decided to have a run out at the last minute this evening so leathers and tea shirt on and off I went.Hooked up with Barney who kindly took the photos " The Lake at Ellesmere " was the venue. Great road back A49 no traffic so although still running this sucker in ,good progress was made .Got home about 8 .10 pitch black and really cold the temperature dropped like a stone so for me this is the first night of real change from Summer to autumn can't complain can we?
It reminds me of women going on a night out and stand next to their ugliest friend so that they all of a sudden look really nice. What I'm trying to say is the bike looks nice mate
Thanks Jimbo .Glad I got the wheels done and even the front end is slowly growing on me ! Done about 320 miles now and as the service is booked for next week I need to get my finger out .At the moment I really like the bike the brakes are perhaps twice as good as the Blades although this may partly be due to lightness of the bike overall can't comment on the power due to short shifting up to 7 thousand revs run in up to 500 miles but feels nice and frisky and there is then another 8 thousand extra to play with .Handling is immense and this is the best handling bike I have owned bar non.The fuelling will perhaps need a power commander as its a little snatchy .So up to now all is ok .Gulp. Went to Millenium this morning to confirm Gillies Rearsets and to order a Dark double bubble and my Blade was in the basement with the second hand bikes was a bit peeved really as the bike is mint and deserves to be on the top floor toughing it out with the Kwacks and new R1s.
those bikes thrive on high revs, looks good but such a shame they could not continue the K6 / K7 can - looked loads better Its the thinking mans sports bike, perfect for the road - enjoy cleaning the white wheels Mike - trust me it does your head in after a while but they do look good when clean.
How did I miss this.........Good for you matey, your new bike looks sweet. I do like, I like a lotty.
Love white wheels Al same on the two Blades The TLR and Two GSXR1000s perhaps a marmite job but I feel they make the bike look a little more trick .
