Haven't you lot gone yet. You know how to spin it out don't you? Ooh not long now eh? Excited? I'll bet...
By the pricking of my thumbs... Something norven, this way comes... They're about 10 minutes away, apparently, so they'll be through quarantine control and being dusted with DDT as I type.
Just looking at doing something like this myself, but a bit later, which ferry company are you quoting. Cheers Bart
They've gone. Just a waft of burning rubber, which Gaz insists is cleaning 'stuff' burning off as his bike warmed up. The Fox wasn't so sure but then he wouldn't know what bike cleaning 'stuff' smelt like. Gary checks up with his probation officer on arrival. two and a half hours earlier than Gary estimated. Let's hope he's not in charge of the ferry crossing timing... "I can only find one boot and one glove." Good luck to Steve, Al and Jason....Two and a half weeks of him, they've got... And they said two bikes wouldn't fit. I expect to see these bad boys shredded when you get back. The odd couple. GaryB's immaculate blade, the Fox's 'furry' one. The back end of a tram, coming at the camera.......Pulling a FireBlade... How many 1000rr.co.uk'ers does it take to unload a bike? Three. One to steer, one as a door stop and one to take the pictures.
After obligatory bacon, they leathered up on the drive. Causing three women to faint at the sight of Steve in his CKs and Green Peace to tow Gary out to deeper water. Gary's house must be completely empty now as all his possessions appear to be strapped onto his bike... Honestly, he did bring the coat hanger with him... The Fox was concerned of Gaz falling foul of the fuzz for an abnormal load and added a red flag. Any idea how we're actually going to cock our legs over these...? Steve, you put them on with the thumbs facing each other, mate. Leave it to the Fox to know exactly the correct method for getting your leg over. And so we wave them goodbye for the next leg of their adventure. Take care guys, and to Al and Jason when you meet up. Next stop, Sunny Spain! Well,...next stop the BP station on Sannerville way, then next stop the Plymouth ferry terminal, then next stop the boat itself.......then, next stop Sunny Spain! Whatever, who cares! I've got a Volkswagen Transporter for a fortnight. Who fancies doing a ram raid!
Nice Gesture Ken and Jeanett looks like a great send off .On the subject of over the top luggage we have not seen or had a peep from GaryB this year and now we know why!!!! Planning Planning Planning how to get twice as much shit in one bag than nessesary.
They're safely at the boat now. Just had a text from Gary. Jeanette just said 'You'd have loved to go with them. Maybe we should take separate holidays so you can do this kind of thing..." With my luck on the up, I'm off to check my lotto numbers......!
It's taken me a long time bitching about wasting a fortnight of my life each year staring at my own feet beside a swimming pool to get this far. Don't spoil it for me.
Have they left UK waters / Mobile phone coverage ? Amazed at no 'we're on the boat, we've got a beer in hand' photo been posted yet - you're slipping guys...
Just had text off Gary , there on the boat , And he thinks the captains a comedian cause he's just said Next port is the isle of white ,
