After yesterday's soaking at Darley Moor I thought best get some waterproofs for my leathers.

I suspect all the usual 'Best Buy' Waterproofs don't allow for Race leather Humps?

I use a soft shell jacket and regatta waterproof trousers.

My winter leathers are 100% leather ie no fabric stretch panels. Treated with Nikwaw it will keep the heavy rain out. Its only the seams that leak, if I know it will rain I rub jo jo wax into the seams this work for a good while, not 100% but I'm generally drier when I get to work than the bods that use the tube!

When it get really cold I just use a cheapo cyclist top.

BTW dont use Nik wax on the ass of the jeans, it's become so slippy, I remember the first time I braked hard in the wet, my balls hit the tank sooo hard, my voice has been squeaky ever since!

Cheers for all the replies lads but I only require waterproofs for Track Day's.

I try to avoid rain at all costs in road riding and therefore use a Gortex Textile 2 piece when on Tour as avoiding rain on a multi-day trip can not be pre-planned!

Ah rain on a track day, I either don't turn up or just watch! My ball are not that large (due to my above experience and not that skilful). I need to earn mo' money and get myself a track bike (and grow a pair)!

I'm with ya there Slick, but when you've paid in advance and it Pisses down all day then I'm there getting me Dollars worth Rain or Shine!

I rode behind a guy (for a very short time) on an 11 year old R1 who was using the same Dunlop KR393 Wets as me who was 'Knee down' on most corners all day long!

Don't think I'll be at that stage anytime soon. :(

I used XL waterproof jacket from Decathlon - cost about £10 and works well, plus when 'on tour' on a cold evening its a jacket to without looking too bike related - like others I then use waterproof walking overtrousers.

kinda reminds me of this, the grip is out there if you have the right set-up and a proper pair of testicles (or ovaries)
