Moved house earlier in the year, and had the choice of continuing to use my rather large (20x18) Shed as my Workshop or I have the Garage.

I chose the garage, since then its basically just been a storage unit for all sorts, not really a workshop, so tomorrow i start its renovation from run down garage painted in gay pink (yes, really, including the previous owners names, along with their kids ones too) to tidy, clean workshop i can safely disect my beloved blade.

Already have my units, parts washer, compressor etc from before, its just a case of positioning everything correctly then painting the walls, ceiling & floor. Only thing i dont have is some hanging boarding/racking similar to that on our very own Cabbies walls in his workshop.

I shall, of course, be updating with pics, ive just got to drag the Blade into the house so i can crack on first!

Look forward to seeing this. I guess if it's painted pink at the moment, you could always put an R1 in there? ;)

    One wall done......

Tomorrows jobs are to box everything lose up then paint the other walls, wire another socket in on the painted wall then put everything away, im still undecided as to if i am painting the floor or just putting my excess pit garage flooring down.

I like to say the pink is not that bad but I can't, what was the previous owner thinking of?

I too have been inspired, what colour should a workshop/garage walls be, Magnolia??? Unfortunatly I have a fridge and washing machine in there too so its not all my space?

White, you want as much light bouncing around as you can, magnolia is duller and doesnt reflect it.

bright white and the brightest strip light or bulb you can find. and some heaters. and a stereo. and a microwave. maybe the last 3 are optional hehe

Should be white mate! Even a 4ft long fluorescent tube will be enough lighting if the walls are white?

Yup, i love my Honda too, both the real one & the limited edition run NSR500 Print above it.
