Well tomorrow I have a busy day at work before I head to Portsmouth for the 22:45 sailing to Caen. Bike loaded up, new to me tyre, chain and sprockets fitted in last week, fresh oil and filter, air filter cleaned and power commander fitted and set up. All being well I get to the premiere inn pub near the ferry in time for a bite to eat before checking in and getting some sleep. Just need to write down the D roads to avoid some tolls and motorway boredom on way to Andorra Friday.
Evening followers, left San Sebastian today and headed to the N240 and Jacca, good riding one some more amazing roads 'I will get round to routing a map' high point getting so use to the bike and the speeds, ive pushed over and over and managed to see some figures I never thought possible. low points, flashed by a forward facing camera coming out of a tunnel on the N121A this morning I'm not getting into the whys and where for's, whats done is done, and I put it to the back of my mind. Until Mrsb opens the envelope had some amazing roads up to and including the N240, I'll be honest still struggling on my left handers whilst these two Basta's with me are continuously rubbing my nose by doing knee downs on almost every bend Err, oh and ive a nail in my rear, its not leaking as yet, but we all agree its best to leave it and check each time we stop. that's about it, loads of pics but wifi a night mare, took half hour for this one, heading to Andorra tomorrow, and i'll get the verdict on the tyre
That's what I was thinking when I read that too! Gary u do realise there is no front plate on the bike right?
like giv says forward facsing ? use a bit of black sticky tape to change a letter or number and play dum if u get stopped ?? but like u say gary forget it for now and just enjoy lucky sods
So, here we are again getting ready to go out so I'll grab a couple of minutes for an update. Left San Sabastian this morning and headed for my beloved N240 (best road in the world!) skirting round the lake at Yesa..............WHAAAAAAAAAAATTTT!...... They've dug a good half of it up and replaced it with a bypass!! I'm absolutely gutted! Anyway we push on, so much so that I see 183 on the clock.......well when in Spain as they say. Totally shocked at Gary's riding, he's with us all the way on the twisties and it's only when we really push on that he flags. Those chicken strips really are his! Weather's holding up, warm and sunny for the moment and looking good for the weekend. Dropped on a nice hotel for the evening with secure underground parking for the bikes all for 75 euros for a triple room with breakfast. Really gash lunch this afternoon, mushrooms cooked in engine oil and some kind of crepe stuffed with gooey jizz......uuuurrgghh. Hope tonight's meal makes up for it with a nice bottle of red. Laters dudes!
Gary, you dont fines from cameras abroad. Currently at Abingdon services, be at post for 10:00 then hope to have got a free cabin!
