Ive decided to purchase a PCV for my blade. Ive got a Yoshi R77 end can fitted. Just got afew questions Do you recommend an aftermarket air filter or stick to stock? Where have you guys obtained the O2 sensor eliminator from? Ebay only has them coming from abroad. Plus blanking plug. Is there anything else im missing? Once i have both ill be getting it dynoed and custom maped. Ill share my results with you all once done. Thanks
You could as Scott says just use a resistor - cheap as chips, I just bought one from ebay (from a Greek Seller), about £17 received in 3ish days.
DynoJet used to have a policy of only selling the eliminator with PCs (don't know if they still do though).
Thanks for your reply's. I've seen them a little too late. Ordered a PCV, and O2 eliminator from a Greek seller (probs same as slick's). Also ordered a BMC air filter as from what i've read they are rated better than K&N although i don't know whether that's true and the gains will be small. Every little helps though. Ill let you guys know the results of it when its custom mapped.
What Zorst are you running? Got a BMC also but running stock pipe but valve disabled. The blade was OK before hand but now the PC is added it is just running so smooth with more pull at mid range, that flat spot at 4.5k is gone and better economy to boot!. Just need time to add the Autotune.
£19 from demon tweeks Dynojet O2 Eliminator Kit - Demon Tweeks and I would stick an aftermarket filter, they can be cleaned over and over so no need to replace them
For those who wish to know:- The resistor you need is 330Ohm Orange (Og) - Orange (Og) - Brown (Bn) - GOLD Connects to Black with White tracer and silver marker AND White and silver marker of the Lambda sensor connector.
Whenever the resistor colour bandings are mentioned it always reminds me of the rude rhyme my electronics teacher taught us.... Big Boys R@Pe Our Young Girls But Virgins Go Without
