The revival.

Packed up the car, been to halfords for some bits, shopping for some munch and beers and now on our way to the revival.

Just dad and I, got a full weekend pass. Can't wait, weather could be better but hey ho....

Back in the day during my teens when I made my living working on Trucks, I was given the FD's kids Moggy to replace the clutch, not quite an early model as yours mind. After much head scratching, swearing, lost knuckles more wasted time head scratching trying to get the box out one of the old-timer grease monkeys walked past and said ' I had one of those once, just take it out through the car it’s much easier’. What a poxy idea, having to remove the front seats, carpets etc. to reveal the removable transmission tunnel. About as good a idea as a mini bottom hose when some twat had turned the hose clip round.

 

Thanks mate but Not mine David it's dads, he had a few! Lol

 

Blimey a set of minilites on it! That looks cool.

 

Now, that's a proper motorcar.

 

What an amazing day!! Honestly, one of the best things I've done... Had a great night last night, brilliant day today, having a few beers and Chinese now....

Can't wait for tomorrow

 

jim on here txt my this morning had a spare ticket and did i want to go... couldnt as promised the missus a day out as was out all day yesterday also so had to turn him down ive had a long face all day haha

We did indeed. Some amazing cars in there. Had such a fantastic weekend. Really was something else. Gutted I didn't get any photos on sat as we spent all day looking round the complex and the cars and bikes, today we walked the track and watched more of the racing but got a few pics....

Times like this I wish I was into photography as the whole event was spectacular!!

Rain cut our day a bit short at 4pm... But what a weekend. Def want to go again next year....
