    Off subject I know : I thought the 2011 black blades have a silver frame and black motor, I know mine did?

    Maybe its an 08 model. That's a private reg (R Reg) not an 11 plate.

    why would you want a blade returned once stolen? and what are the chances of it coming back without any damage?

    Unless it was not insured?

    It's fairly simple surely - the bike was stolen and he wants it back. If he gets it back, then he'll find out if it was damaged or not.
