    Or at least I will be in about 48 hours. My time in Afghanistan is done and therefore the fireblade will be tax, tested and insured by the end of the month.

    I intend to get some quality time on the bike in before winter hits too hard.

    I'm moving to Bristol in December so will be around to annoy Remal on a regular basis.



    (Still looking at getting an S1000RR for next year)

    and get a new blade. they don;t brake as much as the Bm's do ;)

    Welcome back - saw another recall for the s1000rr in mcn this week - apparently its the steering damper this time :eek: not trying to put you off or anything!

    Saw the recall its for aftermarket Ohlins not a BMW steering damper.

    I'm actually back in blighty now but in preston and will be home in Oxford to the bike tomorrow.

    The bike is insured (>£150 fully comp :D ),
    MOT tomorrow and Taxed
    Possibly riding on Sunday……..

    Freedom - Wife still unfettled due to her being quite ill recently after a minor operation. She got infected and then picked up a bug from the hospital :mad: but todays results from tests show its nothing too serious and should be combated with simple drugs.

    Carl - I'm an all year rider ;)
