Nearly bought the Marquez one at Donnington BSB,guy offered it to me for £450 Would have been lovely riding back up the road with it,then the pain would have kicked in as my wife spotted it
Very nice jimbo, those colours look mint ! Obviously you won't be as fast as me in the Mcguiness Rep Top lid with excellent view due to the bigger visor over the x-spirit, comfort is spot on, The only thing I can say is the wind noise is slightly up on the original .... I had an Arai route GT and had two pods bust on me, pita so wouldn't bother again. Raf looks awesome as always, good job he can handle the gixxer like he does an off roader, with style and finesse
^^^ In for a penny in for a pound lol, If she was good enough to buy the bike !!! whats a lid on top sounds like you have a top wifey there matey
Safety Ross, you need to claim safety!! Fancy buying a bike for you that has the potential to do crazy speeds, surely she wouldn't let you ride around without the best protection to your genius mind and handsome face ha ha.
Should have known a man of your sophistication would have one, and the big John McPint rep is the obvious choice! Lol So it's speed which justifies the white boots is it Jamie?
Yes ... white boots ... ummmmm It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I think i can live upto them I also now have some nice SMX Plus Gore tex in black for the slow days
Sure you can mate! How you getting on with the smx plus? Got an old pair of smx (been great) and was going to replace with the gortex ones yesterday but didn't have in my size...
No probs have sent mail to work but ring whenever I can tuck out the office, need a break tbh ! Hope you have a good week off dude
Awesome looking bike Jamie, have you still got the blade or is that now sold? I just picked my hrc blade today....weather is cr4p but was out for 30miles or so....riding position is very different and is going to need getting used to...wrist and back hurt a fair bit That CB looks like it would be comfy to ride? PS nice lid too, nearly forgot about that....i take it replicas of professional riders ones are costlier?
Yes the HRC has gone and yes I do miss her , swapped it for a 1098S in a moment of madness !! then changed Jobs, so bought the CB1R which is perfect for my daily 120 mile commute to bristol and back, I picked it up end of April this year and 6500 miles later I still love it to bits. It has the pace of the blade (on the road) with added comfort its not the precise track tool the blade is but its a laugh ! Your wrists and back will adjust, the blade is a comfy bike for a sportsbike, just remember you have the ultimate HRC varient of the blade so thus the fastest and best looking so a little wrist ache is nothing to worry about lol As for the Lid the reps are more pricey, but if you search about there are a few places that can do a deal ! Enjoy the new bike hope the weather clears soon !
I have a Shark RSR2 at the mo a lovely looking lid, it's very light and a good comfortable fit but a bit to turbulent for me! So I'm defo going Shoei x-spirit next time! I'm lovin the colours on yours Jim
