Over 200 mods from 05 to 06 Honda changed 60% of the bike some fairly major, valve gear (extra springs raised rev limit), ports, suss, geometry, rad, bodywork, small changes in gear box, lots of other little tweaks inc flasher unit etc etc.. :)

I have the 06-07 manual but then its the hrc setup manual and shows the
race wiring setup so not much use lol.but does show how to bypass the pair
valve with two cable ties and a ball bearing.

Yeah that's HRC for you ;) I do some AR racing mods like those ;) Don't and never did know why they brand the online manuals 04-07 a lot changed, should defo be 04-05 and 06-07. To be fair a lot is much the same unless you look closer..

yeah knew there was 200 odd changes as the dealer suckered me to buying the last of the 05 stock with
the notion the 06 wouldnt be much difference.but as far as I can see the wiring is next to identical between the two manuals

Wiring is much the same, however 4/5 run 2 wire flasher and 6/7 run 4 wire they are not compatible.

Going to bump this thread guys....
On the first page there is a scanned colour image of the wiring diagram, but it's a little fuzzy.
I have the pdf of the workshop manual but it's B/W and poor quality so trying to make out the colours and connections for the instrument cluster is a no-go.
What I would ask is the if someone has the colour version as mentioned above could you list the wire colours and their functions please so I can clarify against the previously mentioned scan.
The reason I am asking is that I have just bought a spare front loom that I will be cutting off the original speedo multi-plug and grafting on the multi-plug for my new Koso speedo.

    Thanks folks :)
