As above guys, was thinking of getting a front headstock paddock stand for my 2011 Blade while its off the road for the winter,:Banane49: and for general maintenance, anyone have any advice on these? (are they any good.)
Do you know off hand what size pin is needed to clear the front nose cowling..
    Thanks
    Danny..

I got one of the stfl ones from eBay. It's really good.

Well worth the money, comes with 5 different sized pins, my 05rr uses the smallest pin.

the bike tec one is great and been used to told the bike for months when in the winter. I can sit on it as well. very stable and quality stand

But If I had to buy one one I would go for Harris. the quality if first rate. more expensive but will last many years

If cash is hard you cannot go wrong with the bike tec. But I would buy this myself

I see BSB bikes on the grip on the headstock stands ,, Takes the weight of the wheel bearings i suppose

I've got the Champion one and it has worked well on several bikes but i've yet to try it on the blade as a friend has borrowed it as is rather slow on bringing it back!!

This is a video i made of me using mine for another forum. someone didnt beleive you could do it on you own.

Front Headstock stand one man operation - YouTube

Its the stfl stand and rock solid with the bike on it. The rear needs to be on its stand too otherwise the bike will fall over.
