Just had the IPad upgrade and I now can't get EBay and everything seems more awkward. Why does it always seem worse when they prat about with stuff?
I like the new operating system, you'll probably just have to delete and then reinstall eBay. I have the iPad 2 which is coming up for 2 years old. Don't think i'd buy another one though, i'll go with an android tablet next time like the Samsung Galaxy tablets.
its taking a bit of getting used to on the phone too....don't like graphics as can hardly seem em......
I think it looks crap, too bright with hard to make out menu lines etc, still only one folder deep for photos, no resize for backgrounds, no options to customise colour scheme etc, animations are poor when swapping window, eBay app is now also VERY slow to boot and swap screens, icons are super think and can't be changed, I mean overall it's a typical Apple upgrade with you out way or the highway attitude and no choice to change it, you can miss out on the upgrade by apps will fall behind etc so in the end you will have no choice! The iPad3 etc is a great device just spoilt by the lockdown from Apple, the new keyboard is harsh and bright even when you dim down the the display, that's also hit any miss as some times it will not auto darken, goes light but often not dark. So for me marks out of 10 I give it 1! I think Amstrads Gem OS had more user options!
I'm not enjoying it at all. It's stylised and cheap looking. I've had to turn have of it off to make it do what I want. I don't like the new font. I swear it's slower. The new keyboard covers buttons you need to get at so you have to close it to reach them. Another emperors new clothes moment from the new age wankiegensia of Apple...
It's nasty looking I HATE the new colours and keyboard its funny that sometimes when you install or update random apps it shows a black keyboard (confused) :S Anyway it's what THEY want and what you WILL have! Cheers Apple nice job, NOT...lol Still if you don't like that it's too bright you could INVERT all the colours :S or run eBay in the new NIGHT view...
have to say i dont like it also cheapo looking and the enhancements are ripped from android anyway! prefer safari thats about it... rubbish
It's DEFIANTLY slower! And the eBay app is much slower, confusing and poorly laid out, they have gone from not enough options to confused button layout and too many options you don't really need, they still have problems with websites and pull down menus like eBays main site and so on, you know what it bores the shit out of me how these so called boffins can write this crap, modern developers apps can't be that hard to add in features that work! SO Apple users welcome to the real beta ver of iOS question is how long before an update!?

They know it's slower too, that's why the spinning "waiting" icon is now super small, and that blue line on the tabs that's to give you something to watch while you WAIT!

Roll on rolled up 4k TV's... A few years ago we had a rep telling us print was dead and the future was oleds. Buildings covered with them, roll up tablets and phones. Hmmm, we'll see.
I hate it, looks childish, its slower and just plain and simple horrible. L is doing her nut, lost stuff and stuff that won’t open on her ipad. Anyone know if you can just go back on a IPhone 5 and ipad ?
Not certain David. I've been sulking since I upgraded. It's slower, noticeably slower, as you say, the look is naive, to say the least, my failing eyesight is no longer up reading the new font against the new backgrounds and, more worrying, apps crash much more frequently than before. Okay, that may well just be development catching up, but it's really annoying. My own fault, I know for pushing the download button, but I've told J to hold off updating her iPhone until the apps stop working, which is inevitable because that's what Apple does...
First phone update tonight.....ISO.7.0.2..... Hopefully return to old style graphics we can actually FUCKING READ !!!!!!! And BLOODY APPS THAT DONT CRASH !!!
