Beware of cheap Chinese shite which these obviously are, if these batteries are unregulated voltage u might regret the day u saved a few quid.

You think the genuine GP battery's arnt made in China? These look identical but yes get your point but ive had no problems all Summer using them and the charge last as long as the genuine one that came with the unit.

just bought a WD passport. 2 TB and store all family hols, pics and TD vid. only used 300gig so far. plus hook it up to the new TV and streams instead of putting on a DVD/blu ray

it's powered by the USB so no need for a 3 pin plug as well. I got mine from PC world as it was on offer.just under a ton. It replaced my 500gig WD passport that I borrowed from my mum lol So she could have it back

    this is the one
WD My Passport Portable Hard Drive - 2 TB, Blue Deals | Pcworld

USB 3.0 so uploads/downloads at 50meg a second so much better than the old USB2.

The quality of the still images compared to my mk1 hd gopro makes me want one!

My case may also be slightly marked / scratched after 10,000 miles of use (or not far off)

Neighbour goes to us im 3 weeks, may ask him to bring one back.

The challenge for full hd 60fps footage is when you come to edit it and then render it

There is a really nerdy GoPro forum I look at once in a blue moon, people are doing amazing things with them.

I have a 2 minute 360 pan head made from a pot noodle timer and a 60 minute one from an oven timer that cost me a euro in Germany. Using the time lapse setting o have had some good results from it.

Both would work with latest as mount universal.

Also want to try chesty mount on bike, it apnea worked in Spain last week but tank bag got in way and camera just too low, bit footage really smooth to watch back.

I have seen the black on the offical US GoPro site at $330

My neighbour has a house in Florida and is going next month, I may order and have it delivered to him - works out at about £220 at $1.5 to a £

I am tempted seeing quality from the films etc.

I can't be a 100% sure but when i received mine it required a firmware update, basically i had to register on the gp website.
Also the website uses a java program to pull you gp serial number from the machine in order to allow you to download the latest firmware, i did read somewhere that registering your gp device is part of your activating your warranty also backed up with a receipt you should be ok.

I did look at how to make a warranty claim if something where to go wrong and reading on the website all returns a dealt with gp direct not the supplier you purchased it off
