Having sold all my gear a few weeks ago with the idea of " I'm definitely selling my bike" then doing a 180 degree u turn and now definitely keeping it now I'm in the market for some new gear, I've already sourced some new leathers(Berik Enigma) arrived today some new boots (Alpinestars SMX Plus) should be with me tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.so now my dilemma is a new lid, I've always had Shoei and Arai,but I've been looking at the Scorpion Exo 1000 as it seems to have the shape of the Arai with the visor style of the Shoei, but have inflatable cheek pads(gimmick?) and a built in dark dropdown visor ,has anybody had or have one? as a bit of info would be much appreciated, or should I just stick with the other two afore mentioned brands ? I've got a Bell Daytona, great fit, low noise. Am I the only one wearing Bell as I never see them mentioned on the forum?
Don't know anything about these lids, but i got an email thru a few days ago advising of the sale, seems like a damn good price. May be worth a trip to a local supplier for a test fit then order from the online supplier. HJC FG-15 Carbon - Lids Direct

I have the exo1000 and love it and it's not that heavy compared to Shoei and Arai. I am after the exo2000 next which you would think is a Shoei XR1100. It for me is the lid to have for the money
Sorted now , got fed up of looking , so just went and bought another Shoei a XR1000 Diabolic in black and white , fits perfectly and looks like a cracking helmet time will tell.
Good choice. I have always had Shoei's & have an XR1100 which I like a lot. It's also about head shape as well & Shoei's just seem to suit me nut.
Shoei or Arai everyday of the week for me. I know the other makes are catching up in terms of quality, but I have never had a single complaint about either of these two.
My local dealer has a bell le mans in red white and blue...love it but never knew anyone to wear one....what u think of them?
Jim green has the orange/white/blue and stuck some repsol stickers on it and looks pretty good, ask him about the fit and quality I'm sure he will be happy to answer any questions
