My lovely wife has agreed to let me bring the bike in the living room so I can fit my 2nd hand R&G tail tidy to my 2011 ABS. well 1. the plate is off 2. the seats are off 3 the battery is out and...thats it now this is where i need help already?? plz where the hell do the indicators wire disappear to on my slightly cramped model? where do they join and where and what do they look like? thanks for any help

thanks for that Dave, unfortunately thats another non ABS model. peace of cake finding them ones. update: I have found connectors near the bulky bit near the number plate light, just plucking up courage to cut them *gulp
If you are retaining the standard indicators, you do not need to cut them, tbey just unplug and reconnect after mounting on the tail tidy, the only thing that needs cutting and joining is the numberplate light wiring. They are in the plastic cover under the pillion seat
Thanks people, I couldnt get the lovely rizoma indicators I fancied in time so I am using the originals for now. and you are dead right i didnt cut the indicators just pulled the excess cable back into the boot and ta da! need a new plate (holes never line up do they) and not sure why they needed the extra rail bits down the sides but overall I reckon it looks better??
I left the standard indicators on my 2011 and I thought they looked very good Si has the Rizoma on his but although they are trick they are hard to spot in " close combat situations" lol.
hhm, are they? they seemed to be the brightest on vids etc. why i went for them initially then the design was lovely too. maybe ill have to see them in the flesh!
