Maybe we should add a little 's' in front of the 1000rr.co.uk? There's a fair amount of us jumping ship……..still staying on the forum though.
I knew I hadn't seen the last of that particular bike it was for sale a few months back listed by a salvage yard. Grantham Honda sold it and the guy binned it on new tyres. CAT C.
On Ebay 2013 Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade Marc Marquez Repsol Replica | eBay To be fair they have declared its CAT C. Nice bike but expensive for CAT C!
What is this dick on about eat your heart out BMW you'll never have this quaintly in your ranks , ? Its a fireblade with a paint job , its nice don't get me wrong , Reason it's in Marquez colours , so now the repsol owners when riding it think there has fast as the white ones , I'll get my coat ......
I was going to say something similar but then thought that there's a fair chance he's on the forum…….
£10K for a damaged repaired bike!! Personally i would not touch a bike like this, mainly because if you ever sold it then it would be hard to shift as potential buyers would think the same, its been in a crash there could be something wrong with it. I do understand that their are different categories of CATs, but i still wouldn't be personally inclined to buy a bike like that. Looks good though..
What a cracking day I've had , picked her up at bang on 11AM , home to pick wife up and off to meet giv , Bike felt awesome straight away , felt just has good with ang on the back too . Met up with giv and we did a loop to Shrewsbury , very very good pace , enjoyed it , Brakes fantastic , the power is spot on even with limiter fitted , Suspension smooth , bit uncomfortable today for ang , cause seat not padded , But great fun , so easy to throw into corners , I love it , really I do , Oh and some dick head came over the white line as I was overtaking him , Looked close from where I was but mike said it was not too bad , So apart from that a bloody great test ride , and I'm hooked big time ,
Yes enjoyed the run today and the bike looks good and even with Mrs B on the back it tracks great Barney is as happy as a sand boy .......But not sure MrsB is really comfy .
Hi sorry to say I have jumped ship guys . bought a VFR1200 FD last year ,toured on it this year around France , Monte Carlo , Italy , Switzerland and Germay liked the sit up and beg style , so I have sold the Blade and bought a Aprilia Tuono V4R ABS 2014 , just running it it , but first impressions are good , it really likes to corner , and at ease , I really liked my Blade but three year in with it I fancied change , had it three weeks
Hi Rich my first ride on it was across to Venture Shield across at Warrington , that was with the standard screen on , minimal wind protection , but not too bad , when I got home I ordered a MRA Smoke screen , been out on two good runs with mates on Blades and wind protection not a problem anymore , can't wait to get first service done to really open it up
Nice piece of kit a really really nice bike. The 848 Streetfighter has caught my eye a few times would like to try don't think I would buy anytime soon still happy with the Supersports style bike maybe when I'm not as agile (no disrespect if your 50 or anything I am 30 but can definately see me on a similar bike in a few years)... If that makes sense?!
