Is anyone on here able to translate these pages for me. I've tried typing it into Google, but it takes ages and doesn't all relate to what i need to know.

Basically these are pages from an instruction manual that came with a Diesel Tuning Box I bought for the missus car. It can be setup to give more power, but I don't know exactly how as there are no instructions in English.
i have set dials S1 to D and S2 to F if that helps.

Do you have an Android phone? Just take a pic and get the Google Goggles app to translate it for you without having to type it in :)

Try www racechip.com, they have uk number on their homepage. I have found German companies pretty helpful with things like this.

yeah the translation app is handy. I worked on a german machine and had to read all the alarms
so it was handy to have around.

    Short translation for Picture 1:

    Tuning Race Chip
If, on your bill ( if the chip was bought especially for your wife's car ) it says:
    "B-1, F-E, D-F, C-E or E-0"
    - S1 to D, S2 to 1 = Power Stage 1,
    - S1 to E, S2 to 2 = Power Stage 2
If error code shows up or engine is shaking or not running well:
    - S1 to 9, S2 to B

If, on your bill ( if the chip was bought especially for your wife's car ) it says:
    "9-B, B-C"
    - S1 to C, S2 to E = Power Stage 1,
    - S1 to D, S2 to F = Power Stage 2 ( that's your current set up you mentioned)
If error code shows up or engine is shaking or not running well:
    - S1 to 9, S2 to 9

    Short Translation for Picture 2:
    Fine Tuning the Chip

If you bought the chip especially for your wife's car:

    - you dont have to do anything because the chip adjustment is already set up from the manufacture for your car

If you got some error codes or you feel that the car is not running well like it should:

    - S1 = you can increase or reduce the power here, but you should to it in steps
    Example:
If the S1 switch is on position "B"
    - to increase the power, switch to "C", that's about 1.5 % more power per step

    - S 2 = Switch for constant power:
Under normal circumstances you should not touch it or make any adjustment here

    Picture 3:

Just FAQ, which are unnecessary to translate.

I hope that helps you to make the right adjustments !
    Cheers !
    BD

    Fantastic, thanks.
I tried Google Goggles which turned out to be a great app, but proved complicated to select the text in sections.

The tuning back came set as S1-B & S2-D, but made very little increase, alough the power pulsed a little at full throttle.
I then set the dials to S1-D & S2-F, which made quite a difference in power, but runs out of puff quite quickly and still pulses the power at full throttle.
I will email them at some point, but are there any suggested settings that you can see that are safe to extend the power band?

They recommend, if you dont feel a power increase or you are not satisfied with the performance, you should try different setting like I mentioned for switch S1 and S2, but do it only in steps like:

    - S 1 = D - E - F - 0 -1- 2 -3 -4 -5 -6 -7 ( 7 = most power, 8 = rather underwhelming power )

    - S 2 = equivalent

They leave it to the customer to try the settings.

    Did i not need to stick to certain combinations then, such as B & D, C & E, D & F etc?
I can literally run any combination?

They did not write that you have to stick to some combination. They only recommended the two combinations and if that
doesn't work, the customer has to try other combinations.
The only thing what I can read out of the pictures is, that you should try S1 ( step by step ) first without changing anything
    on S2.
If that doesn't work, than try other settings with S2 too.

It is a bit pig english i agree, but its all about getting my head round how to adjust the dials on the box to get more power from what a disappointing start.
