    Someone asked me this question earlier and i thought it would be interesting to see what you guys popped your cherries on.

    I'll start the ball rolling.
    The first bike i ever rode was a Yamaha FS1E when i was 12yo,
    that day changed my life!:heh:

    Same for me Bill. It wasn't mine as my Dad would not sign up but my mates(Twins ) had one each ,and i can remember at 16 riding to Bolton town centre with one of them on the back on ice with no helmets just jackets and pants shoes going roller skating and never had an off or never seen a cop ,which was all luck i suppose .Happy Dayz.

    Strangely enough mine was a scooter. A Lambretta 200. Belonged to my uncle Bill. Like you Bill, that thing got into my blood.
    End ex.

    DT175 was my first love at the age of 9. Bit tricky as I couldn't reach the ground. Haha
    But my first road bike was a TZR80 and I haven't changed since then still addicted to the two wheels.

    My brothers TS125 .... which I couldn't stop with my small hands (14 years old) so stopped only when it hit a bank of earth at about 15mph .

    But the first bike I ever went on was on the back of my uncles Royal Enfield all bright red paintwork and chrome megaphone pipes .

    My first bike was a 200 James (Villiers) which was set up as a trials bike with a 74 tooth rear sprocket to get the gearing down, then i had a 125 suzuki trials bike which had a twin ratio gearbox, 3 for trials and 3 for road sections, then my first road bike was an RD250 which after a few months got a 400 engine put in, that was a very interesting ride to say the least

    Ha ha

    Jimbo = James
    Vills = Villiers

    I really want one of those, for obvious reasons!

    My 1st bike (straight after direct access course in 1996) was a CBR600, i think it was a 1991ish. Thought it was a good bike at the time but my riding was shockingly bad even by my own admission.

    C90 three speed that was my dads runabout, I could wheelie it if I revved it up in neutral and quickly snick it into first I was about 14 I think.
    Then 85cc big wheel Mx bike up the local field about 15 ish.

    Big gap of about 10 years before getting into road bikes and about 16 years getting back on a MX bike recently
