ok guy, you wont find a more road like track then the Nurburgring, twisties and straights, all 19 miles of it Caterham Superlight R500 lap time 7:55 Yamaha R1 lap time 7:10 I reckon he even had time for a brew by the time that Caterham caught up
That track has many straights on it so your comparison is totally unfair unless your willing to cap the top end of the bike to 150mph lol If you have a look you will see that the caterham is much faster in the tight sections so the above proves nothing about the argument
have you ridden the ring mate!? i think it's a perfect comparison tbh. not many straights at all imo.... and now you mention it - yes i have been smoked by cars! lol although – that’s down to my balls, and not the bike lol the cars are sooo fast through there and the guys that know the track eat you on the blind crests and corners every time, where it takes 100% knowledge of the track to keep it pinned when you just can’t see over the top - you will roll off trust me. when you see a well driven 911 on the ring, it's astonishing tbh.
Plus How can you compare lap records on the right of a R1 compared to the bikes I passed. I never said any were Modern Superbikes. Just a heads up. Bikes are faster on a straight, Not around corners compared to some cars. Having a fun quick kit car and blade makes me a happy man. But my BIL in my Kit car and me on the blade. on the same roads we both know and he won't see me after the first straight
Please keep this on a "remal passed bikes" in the kit car and not " Car's Vs Bikes" thread. We all ride bikes as they are fast and know they are. Even me

Pedal bike, then I got a chance. lol Anywho it was fun out on the tiger (Car) and I love being out on the blade. Everyone got to have a hobby. I would rather be playing with cars and bikes than watching Foozball anytime

I have the road set which sun Goodyear Eagle F1's on the Escort cosworth Alloys I have and a set of Compomotive 14" Which have Yoko R32's for track that are now slicks lol
